Q: What does it mean when beestat is stuck syncing?

A: Sometimes beestat can have trouble syncing your thermostat data. This can happen when connecting a brand new thermostat to beestat. Other times there can be issues fetching the data from ecobee. Most syncing issues automatically resolve themselves after 24 hours, so it may help to wait it out. Please reach out to support if you have persistent issues.

Q: I got a new thermostat. Can you copy the history from my old one?

A: Yes! Please reach out to [email protected] with the old and new thermostat serial numbers and I can copy forward all of the old runtime data.

Q: Why is beestat is showing runtime data an hour off from where it should be?

A: Beestat relies on the time zone provided by ecobee to correctly display your data. Log in to the web portal and make sure your time zone is set.
